Full Schedule of Community Events Announced for 2026 Walmart NW Arkansas Championship presented by P&G
Registration now open for the 5k @ the LPGA benefiting Mercy
Additional community events to include yoga classes, junior golf initiatives, guided bike ride, and more
ROGERS, Ark. – Tournament officials today announced a robust lineup of community events celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Walmart NW Arkansas Championship presented by P&G, taking place Sept. 19–27. Throughout tournament week, fans can participate in a variety of experiences, including the 5k @ the LPGA benefiting Mercy, yoga classes for kids and adults, a junior golf clinic, a women-focused self-care experience, and more. Registration is now open for the 5k @ the LPGA benefiting Mercy, the official kickoff to #NWAChampionship Week. The 5k race will take place in a new location in 2026, hosted at the Walmart Home Office campus in Bentonville. Participants can choose between a traditional 5k or a 1-mile Fun Run/Walk, routing through the heart of the campus and surrounding scenic trails. After the race, all guests are invited to a post-race celebration featuring an awards ceremony, complimentary breakfast, yard games, 20th anniversary photo opportunities, #LikeAGirl and P&G activations, and more. Registration is now available online for just $20, which includes an event gift bag, race t-shirt, finisher medal, a complimentary ticket to the #NWAChampionship, and more.
The 20th anniversary celebration of the #NWAChampionship will also feature a variety of community activities for all ages throughout the week, including:
- Yoga for Kids presented by Dove will be hosted on Monday, Sept. 21 at 4:30 p.m. onsite at Pinnacle Country Club. As a part of the free, kids-focused yoga class, Allisson Kublanov of Bee Well Yoga and an LPGA Tour professional will highlight sports and exercise as building blocks to self-esteem in children. Participating children will receive a gift upon entry courtesy of Unilever and Dove. Spots are limited, so complimentary pre-registration is required online.
- The Fassi’s Friends Junior Clinic presented by Sanrio, hosted by former Razorback and LPGA Tour professional Maria Fassi, will take place on Tuesday, Sept. 22 from 4-6 p.m. at the First Tee of NW Arkansas facility in Lowell. The free junior clinic is designed for children five and older, with all skill levels invited to attend. The clinic will feature a variety of golf-centric activities, a demonstration from Maria Fassi, autograph signing, gift bags courtesy of Sanrio, and more. - The Walmart Women's Empowerment Summit presented by Kimberly-Clark benefiting NextUp will return to tournament week on Thursday, Sept. 24. The annual event brings together leaders from across Northwest Arkansas for a day of inspiring speakers, meaningful conversations and networking opportunities. Celebrating NextUp's 25th anniversary, this year's summit will embrace the theme, "Grace & Growth: Rooted in Kindness, Rising in Confidence," encouraging attendees to grow both personally and professionally while connecting with leaders from across the region. Registration is now available online. Tickets are $30 for NextUp members and $80 for nonmembers.
- Returning for its second year, the Unilever Self-Care Soirée will take place Thursday, Sept. 24 from 5:30-8:00 p.m. at Pinnacle Country Club. Designed to celebrate self-care, wellness and beauty, the evening will include personalized color consultations, beauty demonstrations, product giveaways, signature cocktail experiences, and food from local female-owned businesses. Registration is now available online for $20 and includes admission to the event, a Unilever gift bag valued at more than $150 and a complimentary daily ticket to the #NWAChampionship. Proceeds from every ticket sold will benefit the NWA Women's Shelter.
- Yoga on the Green presented by Chobani will return onsite at Pinnacle Country Club on Saturday, Sept. 26 at 8 a.m. The adult-focused yoga class is open to all skill levels and will be taught by local yoga instructor Angela Hardecke. At the conclusion of the class, Chobani yogurt parfaits and La Colombe coffee will be available for all participants to enjoy. Registration is now available online, which includes a $5 donation to the NWA Food Bank and a complimentary daily ticket to the #NWAChampionship.
- Northwest Arkansas community members are also invited to participate in the Guided Bike Ride to the #NWAChampionship on Sunday, Sept. 27. The ride will begin at 11 a.m., with additional route details to be announced closer to the event. In partnership with Trailblazers and Mercy Hospital, all participants will receive complimentary admission to tournament grounds and a ticket to the BITE Experience @ the LPGA, a package valued at $60. Registration will open in the coming weeks at NWAChampionship.com.
To officially begin tournament competition on Friday, Sept. 25, fans are invited to attend the #NWAChampionship Opening Ceremony on the first tee beginning at 7 a.m. The free ceremony will feature ceremonial tee shots, complimentary breakfast and coffee courtesy of Chobani and La Colombe, tournament giveaways and the official sendoff of the tournament's first groups, giving fans an opportunity to be part of the excitement before competition begins.
Tickets for the #NWAChampionship are available now online. General admission tickets are available for $10 for daily access or $25 for weekly access to the tournament grounds, with children 17 and under receiving free admission to the event, courtesy of Nestlé. With a valid identification, military personnel and their family members will also be admitted free into the tournament, courtesy of 3M. Upgraded ticket options, including the BITE Experience @ the LPGA and the Choctaw Club are also available for purchase. The tournament media credential application is now open at www.lpgamediacredentials.com. All members of the media interested in covering the tournament will need to apply for a credential.
