Paula Creamer earned her first major championship victory on Sunday, taking home the title at the 65th U.S. Women's Open at Oakmont Country Club in Oakmont, Pa.

Creamer, who had played in only four LPGA tournaments prior to the Open because of a thumb injury, battled through pain to shoot a final-round 69 and earn a four-stroke victory over Na Yeon Choi and Suzann Pettersen.
