Wednesday, September 9th - 3:45 p.m.

The third annual Pantene Beautiful Lengths will take place tonight at 6:00 p.m. at the Pinnacle Country Clubhouse Patio. In celebration of women’s health and the P&G Beauty NW Arkansas Championship presented by John Q. Hammons, LPGA Tour players are teaming up with Pantene Beautiful Lengths to help create wigs for women living with cancer. Several LPGA Tour players and other volunteer hair donors will have eight inches of their hair cut to create a free, high-quality wig for women who have lost her hair due to cancer treatment.  LPGA Tour player Christina Kim kicked things off in May when she announced on her online journal that she will donate her own hair at the event. Since then, Paige Mackenzie, Jimin Kang and Heather Daly-Donofrio have each expressed their interest in sacrificing their hair to help others. In addition, many other LPGA Tour players are expected to stop by the event, either as honorary cutters, or to simply enjoy the festivities. The event is not open to the public.
